  1. These statistics are really nonsense… It ignores the employer based health care scheme, deductible shenanigans and other nonsense you have to deal with. The difference in healthcare cost is way more then 16%…

    Interestingly that website pulls the data from the CIA world factbook but they do not have a source for their data.

  2. In the US you might be 14% more likely to be employed but also 14% more likely to be fired at will.

    And 99% more oil consumption in Luxembourg? I would have thought it to be reversed.

    EDIT: I get it, tank tourism.

  3. Some of these seem entirely made up. Like I would bet money on the life expectancy difference being 5-10 times larger

  4. Given the 5% unemployment rate in Luxembourg and the job security. I think a job in Luxembourg is way more valuable than in the USA

  5. Most of those workers who would cause “class divide” doesn’t live in Luxembourg, so, as non-residents, they are not in the statistics. This is one of the main components of Luxembourg’s fantastic achievements in the world of statistics and Guinness records.
