These statistics are really nonsense… It ignores the employer based health care scheme, deductible shenanigans and other nonsense you have to deal with. The difference in healthcare cost is way more then 16%…

In the US you might be 14% more likely to be employed but also 14% more likely to be fired at will.
And 99% more oil consumption in Luxembourg? I would have thought it to be reversed.

For that reason I moved to Luxembourg, to have 1. 75 children instead 2 (that was so much).
Given the 5% unemployment rate in Luxembourg and the job security. I think a job in Luxembourg is way more valuable than in the USA

Electricity consumption is definitely something we should pay a lot more attention to, especially considering that we get almost all of our electricity from Germany, [where it is currently generated mostly from coal](https://app.electricitymaps.com/zone/DE).
Most of those workers who would cause “class divide” doesn’t live in Luxembourg, so, as non-residents, they are not in the statistics. This is one of the main components of Luxembourg’s fantastic achievements in the world of statistics and Guinness records.
They didn’t know if having fewer babies is good or bad so they made it blue
