My local butcher closed abruptly two weeks back. It was to do with the electricity prices too. Only one butcher left in a town of 23,000+ now. Is all of this really worth it. Local businesses shutting daily, prices in everything skyrocketing. Eventually it reaches a breaking point.
I thought there was supports in place for supporting businesses with their electricity bills?
What was base rate increase in electricity price? It is hard to say how much was due to increased usage and how much due to price hike.
This is why TBESS has been introduced.
