I can’t believe that this is the third day in a row I can say:

It doesn’t take a PhD to figure out that more governments = more bureaucracy = more corruption. There’s no reason for a Walloon parliament to exist, the fact that this arbitrary region in the south needs it own parliament, that awkwardly leaves out Brussels and is separate from the French speaking community is ridiculous.
And don’t bring up history/language/culture, Limburg is not in the Walloon region yet was historically part of Liège and the Walloon region has native German, Luxembourgish and Limburgish speakers. It’s an unnecessary clusterfuck of a government.

On a personal note: I can’t believe people keep voting for a party which has proven to be corrupt, over and over again. Of course they will keep pulling shit like this. There are literally zero consequences

Een land waar iemand zoals Frank Vandenbroucke Agusta geld kan vebranden en niet in het gevang belandt, maar een minsterpost krijgt.
Na de Agusta affraire was ik er van overtuigd dat Frank Vandenbroucke die cash geld ging verbranden, regelrecht het gevang in ging and de SP opgedoekt ging worden.
Nee. Dit ventje is nu minster. En de SP (Vooruit) doet alsof er geen vuiltje aan de lucht is dat hun crimineel, die in 1995 moest aftreden, nu het land leidt.

Any party that has been in power for so long and gets re-elected regardless will corrupt. I promise you. It doesn’t matter what they align with.
