  1. Oh look. If it isn’t the consequences of my own actions.

70% voted leave with a turnout of 67.9%.

In 2019 they kicked out Labour for the Conservative Party.

I wonder what will happen at the next general election.

  2. This sub…

Something bad is happening to some people somewhere. I know, let’s look up the Brexit voting stats and if the majority voted leave let’s assume all the people effected did and laugh at their misfortune.

    Rinse and repeat.

  3. I work in Grimsby for a huge multinational that imports from and exports to Europe. Most of the people I work with actually voted to leave the EU. No one really seemed to know why (although I’m guessing a lot are UKIP supporters). Guess what – the site is closing.

  4. I work in Grimsby and most people that I know that voted to leave voted because they’re closet racists it’s that simple. They go down Freeman st, see all the European ran shops and give it the ol’ oh they’re here taking our jobs.

  5. The seafood business is a tough one. I worked for a £200m turnover business supplying some of the major supermarkets and it was ludicrous how little they made; it went bust in the end.

  6. Family from Grimsby, currently a marine biology student. Anyone with any fisheries management knowledge knew brexit was going to fuck our fishing industry. We export what we catch and import what we eat… we knew that losing access to the common market would fuck that all up. But the people were lied too and too many didn’t research, even in their specific industries, and swallowed the lies of Farage and his closet racists.
