MET is the biggest criminal gang in the UK it seems. Any other service and we would be closing it down. If every other week a nurse raped a patient in a trust we would be closing hospitals left right and centre

What people don’t realise is that it has only come this far because they couldn’t cover it up anymore like they do for all the other cases. Isn’t it funny how it can take five years for a case involving a police officer to get to court but a lot less for everyone else.
Can the Met stop raping people for one fucking second?
And the Met guidance for things like this is “make sure when stopped by a plainclothes officer they show you their warrant card, call this number to verify an officer’s identity”, completely ignoring that actual heinous crimes and sexual offences are committed by *actual* police officers, not people impersonating them.
Clearing out the Met is going to leave us with very few officers it seems. Their next recruitment drive is going to need them to recruit thousands to replace those that need to go because of discriminatory behaviour or criminal behaviour. It is going to be a decade long project at a time when the Met is already struggling. It’s not looking good for policing right now and public trust is going to take even longer to recover.
