Hi, i just paid in local shop and got back this. I saw that it did not look like a regular 500 kr, but I only checked when I got home. Are these still allowed to use? I found that they have been withdrawn from use in 2012 (?)

All Money after 1945 is allowed to use.

I think there is a rule that stores can reject the old design, but you can always get it exchanged in a bank. Most places will accept though there’s nothing wrong with the currency.
It’s an old, and real, banknote. Dunno if it’s still valid, though. The new ones were introduced many years ago at this point
