Pontins offers great value holidays in the centre, purpose built in 1968, just a stone’s throw from an 8km Blue Flag beach.
The 12-hectare site is an hour’s drive from Dover, where most migrants from northern France land. “It is one of the options being considered,” a government source said.”
The whole of that strip is packed with other holiday camp companies. Wait for them to complain that people aren’t booking to share the beach with single young men from violent backgrounds when they are on holiday with their kids.
Pontins, owned by Britannia Group, the same company who own the ~~hotels~~ shit-holes that they already house migrants in.

What’s mental is I don’t get how they’re making money. Even with the government contracts they’re losing millions a year. They are simply incompetent morons and we shouldn’t be subjecting migrants to that.

Having been to both a Pontins and a refugee/migrant camps out in the Libyan desert, the interment camps in Sabha seemed nicer, better managed and with loads fewer dodgy looking gangs wandering about.
At the same time, I daren’t put the heating on for fear of an enormous gas bill at the end of the month. Thanks a bunch, Tories! The government has certainly got its priorities in order, hasn’t it?
It would be easier to invest in an efficient asylum process so that applications were not taking months to process, allowing migrants to be moved on as necessary. While migrant numbers have steadily increased, the number of staff processing applications has fallen, helping make this crisis much worse than it needs to be.

During the war, these places were used to house soldiers and internees. Possibly refugees too, I guess. Not Pontins though, it was built in 1968.
So the attempt to dissuade asylum seekers with the threat of Rwanda wasn’t enough and now they’re upping the anti with the threat of a stay at Pontins.

I regularly drive down to Camber Sand with my wife and two young kids, who love the beach there.
Now it’ll be a haven for hundreds of undocumented, unemployed young men from nations with entirely different cultural values to our own.
Sounds like this beautiful part of coastline will now be off limits to U.K. born taxpayers like me.
I despise this government for their ineffectiveness tackling illegal immigration.
