It’s great to have large wind parks on windy days.
But sooner or later days with not much wind will come and at the moment Germany simply doesn’t have a good solution for these days.
Turbines and solar are fantastic when the wind is blowing and the sun is shining. There is no storage system available that would handle situations like this week.
But reddit likes nuclear too much for this to be true 🙁 there can’t be another way to produce clean energy than lovely little deadly magic rocks!

Gernany quiting nuclear before fossil fuels sure was a dumb move, but the argument isnt helped by someone cherrypicking a date / time to suit their argument.
The only important metric is the annual average anyway.
