  1. This is when the vast majority of Norwegians came to North America. Most were farmers. Mine first settled in Wisconsin however, later moved to Canada because the land was better and the climate more like that of Norway.

  2. My great great Grandpa, Swend Haaland, emigrated to Montana in 1895, and my great great Grandma, Olga Jakobson, came to Montana in 1902
