Missing veggies, because I buy them at a local market, but I think it’s still quite indicative of how much you’d spend on food (albeit a bit unhealthily)
> Groceries in Italy
Things in picture check out (apart from Basmati I guess)
> avg gross salary ~30k
Averages are misleading when speaking of economics, as they’re skewed by high incomes. Looking at the [actual income distribution](https://www.youtrend.it/2021/12/15/come-distribuito-il-reddito-in-italia/), the median income is 17k, while the modal income bracket is 20k to 26k. That is gross; monthly net would be about 1100 as a median, and 1200 to 1500 as a mode bracket.
Was expecting more tomato
what are you doing with all those sardines? Not a judgement. sincerely curious. thinking i may be missing out on something
A whole chicken for less than 5 euros? If it is, don’t eat it u gonna be fluorescent lol
I wish we could buy wine from a Lidl and it costed 2€/bottle.
Edit: the cheapest 0,75l Cabernet Sauvignon you can buy in Finland today, is Chilean Sunrise CS for 7,78€.
I see no pineapple though, how are you gonna eat the pizza?
In Sweden the wine alone would make up half of the cost…
the stuff they fill these ready made tortellonis with is often pretty nightmarish…
In Finland, two cheapest bottles of red wine alone would cost a total of 14.58€.
Shits fucked yo
Those two wine bottles are 19,95$ each here in Québec, Canada. Fresh pasta usually comes in at around 6$/pack. Cans are around 3$… With taxes and whatnot, I’m sure this grocery run would cost me over 100$.
