The worst thing about Brexit just dawned on me.

  1. This happened to me last week. I bought my sister a foot warmer and massager off of Amazon.de. About an hour later, it dawned on me that it will have a European plug.

  2. I’ve a bunch of travel “converters” yokes. Look like regular Irish/UK plugs that you clamp arounf the entire EU plug. They’re dirt cheap and solves this problem – even works for my EU phone chargers. They look [like this](https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/255146171166?hash=item3b67e59b1e:g:JQwAAOSwOu9hSxg6&var=555137703833)

I bought them from [RS Online](https://ie.rs-online.com/web/c/connectors/mains-dc-power-connectors/travel-adapters/?applied-dimensions=4294286982,4294429532)

  3. If you have a little of appliances close say the kitchen or living room buy an EU extension lean and just change the plug on that or an EU ro BS adapter. I do this travelling to the EU, just get an Irish extension lead, connect it to a single adapter and hey presto o can plug in 4 things without the need for 4 adapters.

  4. I’ll say this for Britain – they designed a quality plug.

The rest of it can go shite like, obviously, but it’s a great plug.
