  1. I’m surprised that France is so far ahead of others. I guess that’s the legacy of being a particular type of colonial power.

  2. So using immigrant/refugee origin data and assuming they belong to the “dominant color) of the nation they moved/fled from. Then assuming the descendants of said immigrants got a specific color that puts them in” black” category…….

Looks like nothing but guesswork, and it would also be illigal by law to register people by color in Denmark.

  3. Going by the ads I see around town, I would have sworn that the black population around here is at least 45%. There doesn’t seem to be a single ad that doesn’t feature POC these days.

  4. We may not have many black people here, but there are plenty of people from Southeast Asia. Even in my small town (44k) you can easily find one. I don’t know why, though.

  5. How did you distuinguished White Portuguese African Born and respective descendents from Black Portuguese African Born and respective descendents and prevented it from skewing your data?

  6. Now that’s racist! … is what every ‘murican would say. Then they would tell us that in the 15th century we had 50 % of black people in places like Poland, Ukraine, Czechia etc.
