Very interesting, Microsoft are really going for acquisitions at the moment. Given the recent dips in share price for tech companies you would have though stock buybacks would be a better use of capital.

Microsoft have matured as a company, they are like IBM, but the hip cool but wise granny. They are looking to diversify, as all businesses should.
