All they had to do is agree to talks. Not even do the talks or agree to pay rise. All they needed was to send an email to RCN that says this “We are open to negotiations let’s meet up on INSERT-DATE-HERE and discuss” it was that simple. They are actively choosing to not do anything. Worse we have brain washed tory voters defending it. Just yesterday someone was arguing with me that nurses who strike should be prosecuted because apparently slavery is back on a menu and people should be forced to work against their will
“Ok do you think we can deploy the army to shoot protestors and can we spin it as a peacekeeping operation against wokerati agitators funded by russia” – Cobra meeting quote from unknown Tory Minister
Probably blamestorming ideas of how not to pay, and end the strikes, all whilst blaming Corbyn and the previous Labour government.
The core problem with the NHS is that private healthcare is legal.
If there was only the NHS and no other service, I guarantee you it would be well funded, well staffed and well paid.
“The union bosses need to get around the table”, is that the same table the minister for health publicly refused to sit at?
There has to be a joke about a room full of snakes in there somewhere
