It is kind of funny how the UK falls apart at the smallest bit of snow.
I know they obviously don’t get it consistently enough to fully fund everything that would allow it to be just dealt with and for everyone to go on as normal. But recently being to Finland – where it was snowy and below freezing with snow everywhere. They were fine. Same in Switzerland – a quick de-icing and off we went. Even roads are all plowed if needed pretty quickly.
Although arriving into the UK the airport, snow plows were literally tractors with the plow attached on the front. In Finland they were truck sized and all went down the runway at once.
