Every year in Finland the snow falls and lakes/the sea freezes after Christmas. Sometimes twice.
Now tourist are like WOW its the winter wonderland
Where street
Yes it still waiting on the arch and roof to fall.
Lol even in Lithuania same.
Do you by any chance post on a cottage garden group page on fb? Your garden reminds me of one I’ve already seen, don’t know if it’s typical of Finnish gardens. It’s beautiful!
The first 10 days of december out here with nothing and then bam, 2 weeks worth of snow in one night..
I thought that the snow would come late January, I was wrong. It was mid November, and it didn’t melt away after 5 mins which surprised me even more 😮
I thought global warming would warm things up. But it’s getting colder here every year, and sooner than previously usually too. And I think we’ve gotten a record amount of snow every year now for like 4 years in a row. And I believe we have more snow even now in Helsinki than we had at any time last winter. And the winter has barely begun!
But I’m not complaining. The more snow, the better. So let it come! Let’s get a proper Frostpunk timeline going.
Finnish weather doesn’t care about expectations.
Lussi wanted to make sure everyone got their chores done
I cycle to work every morning at 6:00. Whatever the weather. It’s -13c but feels like -20c and there is snow about 30cm.
