I didn’t realize how bad the protests were until a streamer I watch on twitch who lives in southern Netherlands had their internet go out for like a week or so because some part of the fiber transmission infrastructure was completely destroyed.

This is amazing. Look at how Moldova is protesting much more than Romania. They elected anti-corruption parties and people since then, they really fought for a better future. And Romania is still stuck with the same maffia they had 30 years ago.
Protesting is key, if for nothing else, to put politicians in their place. So they don’t forget who pays them.
