I read something on a blog, that ended with this sentence, and then no further explanations:
*Later, if I have a moment, I’ll explain why certain Germans, the best kind of Germans, burst into laughter if you repeat the phrase: “60 kilograms (g) of ground meat”.*
There was a link to a video with something from a late night radio show, but my German isn’t good enough to catch what exactly is going on. Can someone explain?

Domian was a call-in radio show also broadcasted on TV for a while. He had a motto of the day – usually very broad – and people could call in and share their story, ask for advice, etc.
This episode was about unusual fetishes, and there was a guy calling in that built himself a fuck puppet out of 60kg ground pork once in a while that he used for a day or two and then discarded.
The thing about Domian is that he was absolutely non-discriminatory about it. He’d explore the topic in a very curious way and asked inoffensive questions, offered advice etc., and if someone was clearly distressed, guided them gently towards counseling (there was a team on standby that he could transfer them over to). It was really well done, good entertainment and a truly nice and empathetic host.
Domian was similar to what Dr. K is now doing on twitch, but on the radio and later TV, too. His show ran iirc from 0am to 1am, so it was not limited by youth protection laws regarding broadcasts and any topic could be discussed, usually unusual topics (for the time): kinks, mental health, obsessions, novel experiences and general weird and wacky stuff, including sometimes criminal activity. They tried to filter made-up stories as best as possible and Domian always tried to stay as impartial as possible, but to be fair the best calls were the ones where Domian felt compelled to draw a line.
The 60kg meat story, though, became the story which got memed to death before the internet even was really a thing. So most people who stayed awake at night a lot (i.e. then young people) during the 90s to early 2000s should have at least heard of it.
Took a moment to recognize It. Then snort my coffee back in through my nose after the ensuing laughter. Man I haven’t come across this in ages. 🤣
