> The Office for National Statistics said gross domestic product (GDP) rose by 0.5% on the month, **after a decline of 0.6%**
Don’t be mistaken thought – any growth that is happening is *despite of* the government actions, not *because of*.
The Conservative war on small, medium business and self employed means that people have to needlessly work harder and take smaller profit, while favoured big businesses are reaping all the benefits of red tape and higher taxes that limit their competition.
Man, I’m truly fed up with the conflicting headlines. Return to growth, doing worse in Europe, petrol prices going down, recession.
This must be what bipolar feels like, except digitised.
I swear I saw another article this morning saying we’d shrunk for the second month in a row. Which is it?
This is good news if it’s actually true but I frankly suspect that it’s fucking bullshit
I will go on the record as saying that whatever fuckery possible has been done to the figures to avoid the government admit that we’re in recession. Change my mind.
All the proceeds of growth (plus some more from the rest of us) go to the top 1% anyway. This means nothing for regular people.
