Refugee charity ‘happy’ Keir Starmer is no longer a patron, as his immigration stance is ‘incompatible’ with its values

  1. I am so disappointed with Labour since Corbyn. Definitely voting for Plaid Cymru again next election.

  2. > Stamer has also been criticised for some of his comments about immigration more generally, particularly after he told BBC Scotland on 6 November that “I think we are recruiting too many people from overseas into, for example, the health service”.

This is not necessarily a bad stance but it ignores the main problem in that we are seeing British workers leaving the health service in droves and are having to plug the gap by looking overseas. It is not the immigrants’ fault that they are being recruited by a desperate NHS. We should not be depending on immigrants to staff the NHS but we should also not blame the immigrants when they are performing such a vital role in society. Migration keeps the UK going and if he wants that to change then he needs to have policies that make it easier for Brits to afford families. Anti-immigrant policies are only going to make things worse and run the risk of increasing xenophobia and racism.

  3. What’s this bullshit publication doing here? A report from the stable of the Daily Express by a somewhat questionable “charity” that actually separated from Starmer a couple of years ago but forgot to tell him? Get tae fuck wi tha shite.

  4. The anti-labour smear campaign is in full effect again.

Starmer is anti-immigrant, anti-NHS, anti-workers rights, pro-Brexit, a Blue-Blooded Tory, and basically there’s no point voting for Labour.

Until you listen to anything he actually says.
