I would have thought a greater issue would be the rest of BRICS and various non aligned nations who aren’t necessarily supportive of Russia but are enjoying a degree of schadenfreude in the fact someone’s opposing what amounts to a global hegemony and, so far at least, getting away with it.
Why do we need US gas, Russian gas only accounts for 4%?
Funny how wars always end up helping the US and their oil giants…
This is great news for Britain! Hopefully this move will help the country become more financially independent and reduce their need to rely on Russia for gas. Furthermore, by allowing the U.S. to provide this resource, it helps strengthen our foreign relations and increases diplomatic ties with Britain as Biden strengthens his grip as president.
Okay, but I don’t see anywhere how this will lower prices for the consumer.
Also, they still think the gas prices will be volatile for another year or two. So, more profits for them and sucking us dry of our money. Cool.
