Das Land scheint das diplomatische Geschick eines Donald Trump zu haben. Ich glaube nicht, dass es so schwer wäre das Veto abzuwenden. Nehammer will sich als harter Mann gegen Migranten positionieren. Vermutlich würde es schon reichen einen Grenzzaun und Soldaten an der Grenze zu versprechen. Dann werden öffentlichkeitswirksam noch ein paar Rumänen aus österreichischen Gefängnissen nach Hause verlegt, die Krone schreibt er hat die Rumänien Route geschlossen und schon ist das Veto Geschichte.
Mit den ganzen Beschimpfungen und Boykottaufrufen kann Nehammer aber gar nicht zurück, weil er sonst als Verlierer dastehen würde.
Natürlich nicht sinnvoll, aber so primitives Xindl gibt’s halt überall.
Ich verstehe es, ist aber nicht meine Ausdrucksweise. Wenn wir Politiker mit etwas wie Rückgrat hätten würde die ÖVP gar nicht in die Verlegenheit kommen hier mit zu bestimmen, ich erinnere bei solchen Gelegenheiten immer an dieses Briefchen:

In Romania, especially in the country side,(and lots of other parts of eastern europe i think) it’s tradition to get a pig in early spring and grow it big and fat until close to christmas, when you cut it and make sausages and other types of meat products for your family and friends. It is a social event usually, you invite your friends and neighbours to help you, and offer drinks, food and sometimes even part of the resulting meat products in exchange for the help. It is customary that they also invite you and do the same if they have a pig.
In the video, the pig is in stage 2 of the process. Stage 1 is sacrificing the pig, stage 2 is using fire to burn the hair on it, that is why it is brown. It is easy to write on it yes. Usually, in this stage, first you have to put a little kid on the pig (like riding a horse) for good luck, then you take the kid down off the pig and begin the preliminary cutting procedures with an axe and a very big knife (or a short sword)
The people in the video, drinking, are actually saying “Happy Birthday (or Happy New Year, depends on context) to Austria’s Chancellor MeatHammer (“Karl +Ne” sounds like romanian “carne” which is meat, #funny)! We don’t need any schengen, here is our schengen (pointing to the pig ass)”. Then they proceed to drink țuică, which is like vodca, but actually tasty.
Those being said, I swear we outlawed public hangings and witch stonings, please let us into schengen!
Edit: tldr, they didnt specifically get a pig and killed it just to put Karl Nehammers name on it, it is tradition to kill your pig during this time of the year
Sind solche Aktionen sinnvoll – Nein, sollten sie absolut irrelevant sein – Ja. Österreich hat ihnen entweder aus Rassismus oder um sie niedrig zu halten, 10 Milliarden Euro im Jahr abgesprochen. Die dürfen sich schon so fühlen und wer meint ein bisschen Graffiti auf einer Raika Filiale und eine gebrandmarktes Schwein sind mit dem Veto gleichzusetzen hat die Situation nicht verstanden.
Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob diese Herren so oft ins Ausland reisen, dass ihnen eine etwaige Passkontrolle wirklich große Sorgen bereitet

Finds immer wieder lustig wie manche Menschen kein Problem haben andere Menschen als Tiere zu bezeichnen solange sie den Menschen nicht mögen aber sofort jammern wenn andere das bei ihnen machen.

Some random villagers that were in a state of euphoria induced by huge consumption of alcohol, decided to write the chancellor’s name on a pig sacrificed for Christmas to have a laugh. Now some of you act like the participants in the video are Romania’s FM and President.
I think your reaction to this video speaks loader about your biases, and less about how archaic Romania society is. Just be true to yourself, and stop trying to act like you have the moral high ground on this matter.

Also ich stör mich eher an den Leuten die jetzt scheiße über alle Österreicher reden als an den Leuten die über die tatsächlich Verantwortlichen herziehen (wie hier im Video).
Was für Aktionen genau? Eine Sau zu schlachten? Alkohol zu trinken? Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher das sind relativ normale Dinge, die auch in Österreich passieren.
