1. Since we have about [5.7 million pigs in Flanders](https://www.vlaanderen.be/statistiek-vlaanderen/landbouw-en-visserij/veestapel) that would be a massive reduction to bring it to one million and I commend Zuhal for taking such steps. /s

   As to the comparison to refugees. Extremely clumsy and dehumanizing to even compare refugees to pigs, she even admits it’s a weird comparison, before making the damn comparison.

2. She shouldn’t have made the comparison and she damn knows well enough she fucked up.

   The least she could do is apologize, but knowing her, this won’t happen. (To be fair, most politicians think apologizing is a bad idea.)

   Instead Demir is going to attack anyone who calls her out, by calling them weak on immigration.

   Worst about this, it’s a strategy that will actually resonate with almost half of the Flemish population.

3. She’s dumb, she should resign and gtfo of politics. NV-A are fascist pigs.

4. According to my knowledge of the Dutch language she did not compare the two. She compares the situation, not the subjects.

5. Ze haalt terecht aan dat resources beperkt zijn in Vlaanderen. Of dat nu voor varkens, ping pong ballen, piloten, goudvissen of vluchtelingen is.

   Hypocriet Groen is natuurlijk weer de eerste om hier goedkoop op te reageren.

6. Je moet toch wel vrij naïef zijn om haar uitleg te geloven.

   Van alle vergelijkingen die ze had kunnen maken koos ze voor dit.

   Ze moest zelfs überhaupt geen vergelijking maken, iedereen weet reeds dat wij dicht bevolkt zijn.
