In before Leo gets to say it!
This is pretty cute all the same, kids love it.
FUCK!!! 12 more days till christmas, not a fecking present bought yet
We’d need to check with the RAF before we let him into our airspace to be fair.
My 6 year old nephew absolute loves watching Taoiseach’s Questions.
Hope he remembers to enable his IFF transponder
This is wholesome and you’d be amazed how it would resonate with kids even at a young age. It makes the Dáil relevant to them.
No doubt there will be a bunch of people coming along who will moan about it anyway though.
Why is the Taoiseach saying this, this is a Simon Harris announcement if ever there was one. He probably still believes in santa
How would they even stop Santa from entering our air space, we have no real air force???
The 3000 homeless Irish kids must be relieved.
“I saw Leo kissing Santa Claus,
Underneath the mistletoe last night…” 🎵🎶🎶🎵🎵

And yet again the opposition have no practical solution to protect our borders from these encroachments
Stuff like this makes me feel good about the country, like obviously there’s a lot of issues, but we still take the time to do something fun for the kids.
That said, it’s not like we have a primary radar to monitor him, or an air force who could intercept him. Better hope he has his transponder on.
Aww that’s nice
More believable than the rest of the shite he’d be talking. But hear this kids Santa has more reindeer than the aircorps have jets so if he did attack we’re WELL fucked..
*”I’m sorry Santa, I’ve just heard they’ve taken the runways in!”*
I’m sorry, I just don’t buy this one bit. Santas sleigh probably doesn’t even have TCAS, and just the one red nav light at the front doesn’t even meet the most basic of airworthiness requirements. The Irish Aviation Authority will be all over him like a rash if he even thought he could get that rickety old craft airborne with an incredibly questionable propulsion method.
Without Stormont up and running, Santa is unable to negotiate entry to the North, and will most likely be fired upon by US supplied patriot missiles. Thanks DUP.
I like seeing things like this, it’s good for the heart of the nation too.
I think that’s really sweet. I like how he says ‘the children of our nation’, a reminder that we live in a great little country for the most part, and that we are all a part of it.
so sweet
I love that they do this 🎅😍
It’s actually a covert sting operation by CAB and revenue to seize santa’s assets
Aw isn’t the Irish government lovely
You people are phenomenal,I’m so VERY greatful fir this, this is going to go a long way towards keeping my babies (who are questioning Santa’s existence! I know right !!) Christmas spirit alive a little longer, faith in humanity raised again, thank you so much op.
FWIW in Russia/Ukraine Santa comes on New Years Eve in case your talking to a child from that part of the world.
I wonder what Santa’s stance is on the housing crisis?
Who does he think he is coming into our country and handing out presents for free. Sounds like feckin’ COMMUNISM to me! He wears red for a reason folks.
He isn’t from this country so of course he will be granted access
I absolutely love things like this and the older I get the more I love it; that innocence you have as a child is something we all try to capture again for the rest of our lives.
Does anyone else get annoyed when they see an empty dáil?!
