Violence against youg men needs to end. Every week we hear about another victim and we have very much thoughts and prayers response while doing fuck all about it. We need more directed campaigns. Almost 90% of all stabbings are young men and there seem to be no resources allocated to help prevent that
Incidents of violent crime continue to rocket to unprecedented levels while the tories do nothing. They created this problem with their cuts to police numbers and early intervention programs that were set up by the last Labour government and helped to keep crime levels down. It’s a shameful failure of government that is not being highlighted enough.
This is wrong on so many levels, but even on a single level would be no less tragic.
The additional sad part is that hid death will not lead to any changes for next victims.
Happens everywhere, sadly. I’m in the Emergency Theatres in Norwich and we see a few each year.
Had one guy, about 4 years ago, walked into A&E holding his bowel, asking ” Can you help me please?”. He had 28 stab wounds in total. Awful.
Is this gang on gang crime or are these innocent/random attacks?
It will be connected to organised crime, the government has the power stop this over night but I don’t think I’ll ever see them addressing drugs policy.
