I love that ‘ we’re going to be strategically looking ahead 15 or 20 years’. What utter bullshit. Govts never ever look beyond the next election and this pArticular lot, not beyond the end of the week.
So basically the UK is trying to be some world superpower with the same level of importance on the international level adjacent to the USA/China. Lmao… someone misses the past.
These will be great promo tools for those nations to tout such an agreement but no utility will come from them in the end. Britain thinks it’s gaining something here but the winds of change just blow through this land with nothing to show. Other countries can get greater economic, social and military utility from nations with actual value. Britain has nothing to offer anymore.
