  1. I use s litte spray bottle with wiper fluid and a soft cloth to solve camera issues. Tested in minus 16 in Drammen with success.

  2. This happened to me once, too.
Try setting the degrees up to minimum 0 C, then restart your phone. That should help.

  3. I have experienced screens/monitors acting that way when very cold, it’ll most likely wear off as it heats up.

  4. Acually fun fact, the camera sensor itself likes cold. There is this phenomena called thermal noise which comes from basically any conductor having any temperature above absolute zero (-273.15 °C). Other parts of the circuitry may not like the cold though, such as your battery or the flash memory that stores your data on the phone. I once had my SIM card rendered temporarily unusable in Helsinki when I was outside in February for a long time.
But in certain professional cameras they even implement a cooling system for the sensor itself to have less thermal noise.
I hope you find these facts interesting.

  5. -26°C here two days ago. Usually reaches -38°C once a year here. Everything on my car becomes sluggish, even the shocks and clutch.
