I’m located in Rawa Mazowiecka (1 hour from Warsaw and Łódź). Does anyone know a shelter taking cats? Or is anyone looking to adopt, or could take a cat temporarily while they’re looking for a home?

I caught some strays that were living outdoors, I was feeding them over the summer, getting them used to people.

Now the weather has been below 0°C three weeks, they’ve been staying in my basement. I listed them on OLX for adoption, even paid for promoted ads, but not getting any interest.

2 kittens about 9 months

2 adults about 2 years (one is mother of the kittens, the other is sister of the mother).

All tabbies. Use litter box. Lazy cats, right now they sleep all day in one pile together. They’re calm, not aggressive, can be picked up, petted. Only the mother is still afraid, runs and hides, but not aggressive either, can be petted while she eats.

I live alone and I’m working all the time, I don’t have time for them, just wanted to help them get through the winter, but it’s too many cats. I also have a dog, the dog is stressed out with the cats in the home, keeps wanting to go to basement to chase and harass them, stressing me out.

This is the last week I’ll have them, and if I can’t get any help, I’ll have to release them outdoors into the -12°C weather. I’m at my mental breaking point with work responsibilities, financial trouble, and all these animals.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

If someone is interested in adopting, or knows someone looking for a cat, please let me know. Can pick up in Rawa Mazowiecka, or I can deliver up to 80 km (Warsaw or Łódź) for cost of gasoline.
