This Christmas Carol PERSONENT HODIE was first published in Finland in 1582 in Latin. in 1916 it was translated in to English. I wish I heard this carol in Finnish, I translated it in to Ukrainian. So, I sing it in three languages: English, Ukrainian, and Latin. I wish it was in Finnish, as well

Sorry, but Personent Hodie was in Moosburg graduale already in 1360. There are a few Finnish lyrics for the song, but none can be said to be ”original”, and most often the song is sung in Finland in Latin.
