One of my UK clients ask me to take Ireland of the website postal destinations last week as is was a ‘pain in the arse’.
Royal mail and UK PO will now blame each other for 5 years then it will take 3 years for business to lose the bitter taste and re-start posting here.
Meanwhile Irish shops can’t even answer a fucking email about stock (because I know the website stock level is talking shite).
Why are customs here implementing this change before everyone else in the run up to Christmas. If the rest of the EU is starting this in January, that’s when we should have started it too. This change is obviously going to cause disruption, doing it at the same time as everyone else and after Christmas would reduce the disruption
You should save yourself money and hassle and stop buying from UK. Simples
An post did this a year ago. Now all the other Post offices will be implementing this shiteshow. I really don’t know what it achieves apart from making it way harder for ordinary joe soaps to send stuff internationally. How many old people can find these codes and print them?
If you were not aware they have to be printed not handwritten.
