Incidentally it’s the plates and cups they are on and in that caught my eye, I’m fairly sure those are from Bolesławiec, and my dream is to replace my cheap IKEA plates with plates like these one day. There are a few famous and old manufacturers in that area, the styles are all similar, as in you can tell they are from that area, but there are so many different patterns to choose from and they all fill me with joy to look at.
Edit: my polish skills are very bad but I think uszka kind of means ear, like a diminutive form of the word ear, ucho in polish

It’s like pierogis but mini sized and filled with mushrooms, best eaten with “barszcz” those cups on the left aren’t filled with coffe their filled with “barszcz” it’s a popular soup in Poland we normally traditionally drunk or eaten on Christmas but you can eat it any time
Their name comes from looking like the ears of a pig ears=uszy and just make the word more polite uszka
Think of it like ravioli but with real meat instead of some preserved crap
On the tree – shaped plate there are uszka and in those cups, there’s probably barszcz, wchich is quirky, because uszka should be in barszcz
