This is cured meat and doesn’t need to be stored in the fridge, although I would go for some place dry and colder than room temperature. The spots you’re seeing is just on the casing (which I prefer to remove before eating) and it’s perfectly normal 🙂
Ah, yes, reinsdyrpølse; the biggest fraud in Norwegian tourism. How many $$$$ did you have to pay for that?
Not at all! I honestly think it’s a crime to keep this art of meat in a fridge, it’s cured, the whole point is for it to be temperate. I even like it to sweat a little and dry out, that is where the taste is.
Enjoy it, even if some people call it a fraud
Good buy in my opinion. 150kr for half a kilo of meat isnt bad at all. Enjoy 😛
The sellers leave them inside shopping centres for the whole of december. I think Mattilsynet would have taken action a long time ago if it were an issue 🙂
Hypothetically, where exactly would you store the sausage inside Fride?
They last 7-8 weeks before starting to Get «bad». Bad is hard basically. Some like them to be Harder, its just a preferrence. I like to cut them in half, freeze The other 🙂
If you open the plastic you should cut it up into smaller pieces and then put them in the freezer. You can keep a small piece in the fridge.
