  1. As a Brit and cinephile, who wasn’t exactly a fan of Meghan Markle, the celebrity, the *caucasity* of these MPs and the racism the couple & their baby experienced was gutting.

    I hate the monarchy (it aint done nothing for most of us and have a horrible historicly record)y), but there should have been a line.

    Unfortunately for them, there wasn’t…. especially when the media tabloids and posh Tory pricks were involved

  2. It won’t go anywhere even if he does, because it will get talked out by the usual tory suspects, and the government doesn’t want to touch what is effectively a bill of attainder with a ten foot pole.

  4. Bob will presumably be reined in by his fellow Tories. Harry and Meghan received their titles from the Monarch. The current King might well tell the flunky that brings this legislation to him for signature to take a hike, creating a “constitutional” crisis.

    However this proposal from Bob is just a dead cat being thrown around to distract the people of the UK from things like being broke,not having food, heat, light or a medical service.

    Yeah, that’s really all you need to know about Bob Seely’s priorities. The Tories, once again, are “quite obviously conducting themselves in a manner unbecoming”.

    This bill is clearly just a distraction from out of control inflation, austerity 2.0, the wage shortage and rampant corruption, yet again.

  9. Because that’s the most important issue that Bob Seely perceives in UK at present. These twats really are so far out of touch.

    Isn’t the thing with a hereditary system of privilege that we proles don’t get any say? Hasn’t Harry been put in place by divine right?

    If Seely wants to enact legislation allowing the people, via elected representatives, to remove parts of the Royal Family, why not start at the top and work down?

    Or perhaps Seely could spend his time working for his constituents who can’t feed, clothe or keep warm their families, and forget shite like this.

  10. They need to strip Prince Andrew and Prince Harry of their titles and they both need to be removed from the order of succession. I thought they would do remove them as stand ins at least, instead they just added more.

    Hard to justify either of those two keeping their titles to the stage where they will drag the Monarchy down with them. I hope the Labour and Conservative MP are successful.

  14. I guess I should love the idea of a UK Government (even the Tories) stripping the Royals of their titles. However something tells me that isnt what is going on here.

  18. Can he strip all the other royals at the same time? Then split their money across the bottom 50% of earners and send some to all those former colonies who feel like we wronged them.

    Then we can have a proper and fully democratic country we can be proud to live in rather than one where an old man gets to inherit 34 billion in assets tax free because of who his mum was while people starve.

    Seriously, stop looking at Harry and Megan, they aren’t the problem here.
