Only in the UK…

  1. I should really get one and wear it to work because the rest of the team all wear Under Armour, Nike etc sportswear and I feel Greggs is more my brand!

  2. Gregg’s becoming a symbol of UK culture just highlights why the rest of the world says UK has bland food. It’s shit food, it’s just slightly cheaper than real sandwich shops can sell at. Should be viewed more as an Aldi or McDonalds not have this .. ‘you’re not British unless you go to Greggs’ attached to it.

  3. My teen bought the Christmas jumper just visible on the left of the photo, plus a multipack of Greggs themed boxers. A friend of his bought the full head to toe look (tracksuit and Crocs).

(edit to add: he also has a McDonald’s Christmas jumper which he wears similarly casually with his ridiculous llama haircut)

I honestly can’t tell if Gen Z is being ironic or enthusiastic with their mullets and logo garments.

  4. It’s the sort of thing that a bunch of people will buy for a laugh, and then suddenly Greggs realise they’ve made tens of millions of pounds on it.

  5. Which shop is this? Looks like there are Gregg’s jumpers on the rack behind too.

That’s the horrific Christmas jumper sorted!

  6. I remember hunting for some plain hoodies while in Primark and almost all of them had some sort of brand logo on them including Greggs. When I finally found se plain ones, folded on a shelf, they only had XL and L.

  7. Growing up, Greggs was just a small bakery that had good jam doughnuts. Now look at the monster they’ve become…

  8. Which entrepreneur is going to be the first to buy one of these and stand outside a Greggs charging an entrance fee. (Think Troy Hawke)

  9. Got my brother an XXXL Greggs hoody for his birthday for a laugh. He only wears it in the house but absolutely loves it. Thick, warm and super comfy. I was actually a bit jealous

  10. I can never figure out why people are willing to buy clothing that is an outright advertising for a company who should be paying the user to wear it.
