Is Minimum Alcohol Pricing stopping slabs being sold? I haven’t seen a slab of beer for sale yet
Ye may hop in the car across the border!!
When I was a lad they’d be stacked high in the corner all the aunts and uncles in the house drinking and singing, not anymore bloody putin
I got a 24 pack of Guinness for €12 this time last year lol
One time I was in tesco and the man said he couldn’t take for the booze, so I would have to scan my 4 trays of Guinness at customer service on the way out.
I’m still waiting for the guards to take the hinges off me door and arrest me a decade later.
Wait till the sales results come in and all the profits are down.
That’s when things will change as soon as the big corporations get involved.
Up the north for all your Christmas boozing needs!
Moved to Australia recently and all everyone talks about before you come here is how expensive drink etc is… Ireland has caught up.
Difference being people are paid much more here.
Are they 330ml or 500ml?
Cases of numerous beers such as Carlsberg, Coors, Heineken etc all for £10 in Tesco at the minute in the North.
Should clarify that is for 12 330ml bottles.
Past?
Even €20 looks expensive, what is the going rate now for a slab in Ireland?
Here in Germany I can get crate of OKish beer with 20×0.5l bottles delivered for €10, would get it cheaper if I went to one of the bigger drink markets. Good beers would be €15 for a crate delivered.
Slabs, crates?
We call it a two-four in Canada.
$45(31euro) for a two-four of Bud 473ml, mup here
Feck, I saw the post and thought that this was a current image. I thought that they got around this stupid MUP. Pity.
I brewed a batch of homebrew beers for Christmas, 30 750ml bottles for a little over 30 quid 🥰
Sure ya know how it is with two crates of Guinness and a half a bottle of whiskey inside of you like – sure ya wouldn’t want mammy brought into anything like
30€ for 24 here on the East Coast of Canada, shits getting expensive!
Go up north lads, if you’re on the centre to north east coast there’s an area called Jonesborough just off J20 on the M1 just across the Louth border with a few *ridiculously* large range offering off-Licenses.
