I feel like Americans just hate mayo on fries because their mayo probably tastes completely different from ours. I imagine theirs is almost more like a bad dressing
When you see these endless chip/sauce posts you realise just how small this country is.
I never knew what I was missing on my fries until I came to Belgium

I mentioned the whole pink sauce debacle to a friend born an raised in New York and shared our pink sauce (la sauce Riche). She was so shocked so I shared I had something like 10 different sauces specifically for fries in my fridge. She thinks I’m crazy 😁
