  1. No. Most likely they were a set of this year’s Christmas stamps, and that’s what it’s referring to. In any case, stamps retain their value, so no worries.

  2. A politician called peteers pushed a policy that all payement must be rounded to the nearest .05 euro. The aim is to get away with coin of 1 and 2 cents.

As it is an economic rule and not a fiscal rule, the tax are counted on 1.99 and 2.02 euro while you received 2 and 2 euro. It is a mess in the accountability.

It has nothing to do with stamp

  3. I wouldn’t be too worried. I’ve send out letters stamped with the little sticker you peel of a kiwi. Gets delivered every time.

  4. ‘end 2022’ is just the new years and Xmas version of stamps I guess.

But I’m shocked bij the pos remark.

  5. There really were/(are?) stamps with a discount for the hollidays so all that card sending costs less and they are valid during a limited time, look it up… don’t know if thats the case here.

  6. Postambtenaarke hier, gene paniek. Postzegels blijven geldig. En koop er best nog een lat of tien want ze worden teringveel duurder volgend jaar.

  7. I don’t know about Belgium, but in the Netherlands when you send a letter with not enough stamps on them, the receiver has to pay a fine. Never ever payed a fine to then postal service ever. They send a reminder and that’s that. What are they gonna do? Send a debt collector to my door to collect €2?
    Wouldn’t worry about it.
