  1. I mean, they usually have plastic covers and are supposed to be quite a bit away from sources of running water too.

  2. What, you can’t have electricity in the bathroom? How do you dry your hair, do laundry, and do other stuff?

  3. This is soo true xD no room in my house have more electrical outlets than bathroom

  4. There is code for outlets in the bathroom.

They have to have plastic covers (IP44), be 50 cm from the source of water (iirc) and cannot be placed lower than certain height

  5. Literally every country I’ve been to had outlets in the bathroom

  6. With those German power sockets, you should be safe.

  7. Yup, ip44/56, at certain height and you’ll be OK.
Usually wired into separate circuit with more sensible breakers and the other stuff I forgot the name for.

  8. How else am I going to plug a toster before i take a bath?

  9. Bassicaly in Lithuania there are outlets in bathrooms as well but those who are near water sources have like a lid who closes when you don’t use the outlet
