Cats typically don’t travel far from home – ask your neighbours to check their sheds or garages. My fella got trapped in a garage around the corner from my house and another cat of ours was a demon for doing the same thing.
I hope you find him soon – he looks like a gorgeous little boy.
Ah would you look at him! He looks very sweet! I just love a ginger cat 🧡
Is he microchipped? I’d contact your local vet clinics incase someone hands him in 🙂 as the other commenter said, they don’t typically go far. Have you left out a (unwashed) blanket or a toy of his ? You can leave his litter tray out as well. It can help to entice him home.
I’ve seen the tip of leaving his food out but you never know who you may be feeding and you might have a lot of cats or foxes in your back garden heheh
All the best and keep us up to date !!!❤️
Any update in Ed?
I hope you find him. With luck he’ll be in the power plant keeping warm somewhere. And getting fed by the lads in the control room or the security guard like the ones who live there.
What a gorgeous liitle man!
Our cat went missing when at the vets earlier in the year and I got lots of advice to get her back, which we did in the end. So I’ll just leave some of it here.
When cats get lost, they will sometimes hang around where they got lost. In your case I presume it’s near your home.
Put his litterbox outside (he may pick up his scent), keep some food, water and some treats he really likes outside as well. Along with some sheltered bedding to keep him warm and dry.
May be worth buying a small security/pet camera so you can check if she’s been around. I bought a cheap Tapo one for less than €50 that records (Micro SD) motions and can ping you with notifications.
Don’t be afraid to call out for him a few times a day and walk around the area doing the same thing. Tell your neighbours and put up some posters.
Inform the animal shelters in your locality with his picture and keep an eye out on shelter websites yourself.
Don’t lose hope on finding him. Sometimes cats are found almost immediately and with others it can take months or longer.
We thankfully found our cat where we had lost her six hours later. But a woman who contacted us said that she found her cat where she had lost her, three months afterwards.
