Seems like a no-brainer imo. The Ukrainians who came here were offered a place to stay and a ‘leefloon’. It’s only natural that we expect them to reciprocate by contributing to our society and economy.
Can we also make it mandatory for Belgians in other parts of Belgium?

The problem is language. You can force people to work all you want but people that just came here need some time to learn the language(s). Even if they clean or cook.
I’ve met some ukranian refugees through my job and every time they couldn’t speak a single word of english (or dutch). So this will take a long time.
Lol, VDAB doesn’t even work properly for Belgians, what are they gonna do for Ukrainians?
