I’m more interested in how the national council shut down the cantonal laws for minimum wage and the possibility of an initiative to either give Romand regions a right to veto such things or give them independence and become an autonomous region

My opinion is you should close the Internet today and go out take a bit sun and fresh air. You know why they comme to switzerland? Because we could not care less about them and i hope it stays this way for a long time.
I had a pizza in Gstaad once. It wasn’t super expensive but it cemented the idea that rich people have no idea where the good stuff really is.
I mean it’s like italian food in Venice. If it’s touristic, it’s not the real place.
Henri Des knows on the other hand… My boyfriend has seen him in a really good pizzeria once.

They have clearly had a misguided experience in gstaad. While switzerland is expensive not everyone is a billionaire, heck not even a millionaire.
You can get coffee for 3.- everywhere and usually a good burger is around 25.-
So clearly they have a some extravagant experiences because they stayed in and ate at the most expensive places.
But i still think that the swiss would lol at the americans at any chance they get.
