  1. To the extent EU related finance (including Euro denominated finance) continues to flow thru London or the UK, the EU will continue to take measures to direct that business back into the EU.

    And pretty much for every other EU business sector as well.

    The only limit on EU actions in this regard will be whatever the WTO or other relevant treaties forbid.

    It’s going to be a persistent headwind for the UK.

  2. As a nation, we’re going to have to have a sensible, adult conversation about what we’re going to do about all this at some point. But that’s not going to happen under the Tories. They’d rather keep us all divided.

  3. This nugget again? The things banks have said will backfire spectacularly on Europe weakening both London and the EU markets and strengthening the US.
