Fair play to her for wanting to do something with her life
Very admirable and intelligent girl. Unfortunately the toxic redditore bores just use every excuse to pile on because they’re scared of diversity and they’re thick.
Best of luck to her
Best of luck to her.
You can’t argue with her logic, she’s never seen disabled journalists, so she wants to be that role model for young people with disabilities. RTE’s journalists and whoever wrote that headline seem to think her being a traveller is the disability. You could literally change the word ‘Traveller’ with ‘Disabled’ and have the same article without the dog whistle.
Great job, very inspiring 👍
“First person in the family to sit the leaving cert”.
Absolutely fucking tragic. Fair fucks to her for trying to break the cycle but reading stuff like that is just so grim. If you don’t even finish your LC these days you aren’t exactly setting yourself up for success.
>Young Traveller woman determined to break barriers.
An article about her is written by someone else. There’s something about the language used that I don’t like. I’m not sure if it’s infantalising or what.
