I wanted to walk along Victoria lines and started in Kuncizzjoni, following the instructions on this website. [https://www.victorialinesmalta.com/kuncizzjoni-bingemma-fort-map-walk/](https://www.victorialinesmalta.com/kuncizzjoni-bingemma-fort-map-walk/). When I got to the bit where it describes ‘a small field with 2 “private” signs. Do not go through the gate with the large new wall as you wont be able to get out of the field. Go across the field until you come to the stop wall’, a very irate man in a car told me to fuck off. Is this normal?

I think this is normal everywhere with relatively high propulation density and no freedom to roam laws.
“a very irate man in a car told me to fuck off”
it seems they are everywhere.
I did the walk following that site in ‘11. After fort Bingemma I just followed the road and ended in Bahrija. Never got to Kuncizzjoni sadly

The Victoria Lines hike is the most overrated hike in Malta. Uninteresting, short, a lot of private areas in the way, and not challenging.
Yes it’s quite normal….especially during the hunting season were all of Malta’s countryside becomes the hunters’ playground. Sucks.
