Marazion, Cornwall

  1. I feel like that’s slightly underselling Marazion, given that if you turn to the left you’ll see St Michael’s Mount.

  2. Thought I recognised it! Many happy memories as a kid staying along the Cornish south coast each year. Marazion, Perranuthnoe and Porthleven especially, such a beautiful part of the world.

  3. …So hasten then and paint her

In the last flush of her pride

    On the rocks of Marazion,

At the ebbing of the tide.

  4. I’m sure I’ve eaten a cream tea in here with my parents, about…. It was 15 years ago, though, so I could definitely be wrong

  5. I love Marazion. Just to the right of your picture there’s a lovely little sandwich shop / cafe we dined at this summer!

  6. Great photo! I was there a couple of months ago. That cafe sells the best crab sandwich in Cornwall (probably the most expensive too!). Was amazing.

  7. Used to camp there when I was in my early 20’s and kayak around st michaels mount. Had many a bad head after a night in the gadolfin (i think that’s how you spell it)
