Switzerland has more than 2.3 million domains that are registered as .ch domains. According to the [source](https://www.nominus.com/en/dm/countries-most-popular-top-level-domains-world), the countries with the most domain registrations are Germany (.de), UK (.uk), China (.cn), Gabon (.ga), and Netherlands (.nl).
Gabon surprised me but apparently in 2013 they started offering free domain registrations.
Let me guess: “universities” and “banks”?
