Donations to Tory party slump 40% in three months

  1. Anybody who has donated to the Tory Party should be donating that money to food banks since they helped create them.

  2. Pretty sure this happens every recession / leadership change event.

Blue becomes unreliable, funding switches to Red.
    Red wins for 10-15 years,
Red becomes unreliable, funding switches to Blue.

Maybe we shouldn’t let money have such an influence?

  3. It’s obvious the Tories are on the way out and anyone that wants influence with the next government needs to start bribing other parties.

  4. Looks like both the Tory party and Labour will be fighting the next election on fresh air and political fervor then.

  5. Instability at the top was always going to have that effect, which was only made worse by the public choosing Truss over Sunak. Her car crash of a budget has made the Tories appear very weak and donors are probably not yet ready to keep backing them just yet.

  6. Goodness. How are the Tories going to fund their misinformation/meme farms that hoodwink the utterly gullible that vote for them without all the Roubles pouring in?

  7. They must smell an election defeat. It’s a clear sign why they make the donations in the first place. Broken country.
