I know that type J plugs have insulation on both prongs (in some cases) which are also found in types C, E, F, K, and L.
For example, the EU version of [Anker 735](https://www.amazon.de/Charger-GaNPrime-PowerIQ-Suitable-MacBook-black/dp/B09WD4GYNJ?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1&psc=1) has insulation on both prongs making it much safer to plug in, and eliminating the risk of being electrocuted.
I have the US version of the [Anker 735](https://imgur.com/a/fXaJ5cg) (with foldable prongs and suction cup) which has no insulation on either prong and all exposed metal, I think it’s because it’s something they never considered replacing the already existing plugs, due to cost, both types A and B do not have insulation on either prong. In general, why don’t charging bricks that use type J have foldable prongs or suction cups?
In hindsight, does that make Swiss plugs safer than US / JP ones?
