They aren’t “punk”, if they ever were, they are firmly establishment and the kinds of pricks we should be kicking against.
Support independent breweries and pubs, sod companies like this.

Not that we need another reason to avoid buying products from that company but it helps.
Brewdog is a marketing company that just happens to sell beer as well. Avoid.
Brewdog was a rebellion against macro beer and tasteless lagers and crap bitters.
It has become the very thing it was railing against so hard. I have fond memories of my first pint of Punk IPA (it was absolutely banging way back, packed full of hop thiols and had a great crisp malty backbone, very sessionable). Now it’s a little bit hoppy and a bit flat whenever I have had it.
Their bosses are creepy AF with numerous reported issues around how they treat their own employees and women, plus the whole toxic management culture and the staff walkouts.
Fuck ’em. They offer *nothing* original anymore and their crap beer is taking up shelving space in shops where proper independent breweries could be placing their stock, in a time where breweries and brewers are under tremendous and unprecedented financial pressure and some very large indie brewers have folded just this week.
Plus their bars are rubbish – no real theming or atmosphere, just some “edgy” post industrialist cube steel frames and recycled wooden tables, an average draft list and poor lighting. Pfft.
Brewdog was a brand nothing more. Poor product, poorly run, poor decisions…yet they pretend to be outsiders and edgey
The advert was never the advert.
The advert getting banned and the media reporting it for free was always the real advert.

Company known to be terrible breaks advertising laws. What a surprise.
…and gets even more free advertising by virtue of the ban.
They’ve also lost their [ethical B corp certificate](https://www.theguardian.com/business/2022/dec/01/brewdog-loses-its-ethical-b-corp-certificate) after only two years, and then there’s all the stories about how they treat their staff.
