It is far from the rioting some foreign medias are reporting, more like what is called “casseurs” in France who use to infiltrate anything that they can, football might be only a pretext… The result is garbage on the streets and burned trashcans, may be some minor injuries and some arrest: they wanted to confront the police, nothing more, nothing less.
There is no angry football fans enraged by the defeat and trying to burn France.
Edit: I can’t even find an article on french national media, only local news(www.placegrenet.fr) and a far-right site (fdesouche.com).

If things had gone slightly differently, that title would have been “French cities experience rioting after France’s win against Argentina in FIFA World Cup finals” and it would have been just as surprising.
